Proud to introduce our student Priyanka from Vaiyavoor government high school. In the educational event conducted in 2016, she felt very shy to speak and ran down from stage and even slipped a bit. Our team and teachers spoke to her and told her how significant it was that she came on stage.

Turn the clock ahead for a year, in 2017’s event that was held a week ago, she owned the stage completely. She was so bold and articulated her points very well. She even asked questions engaging other kids during her speech. It was just an awesome moment which made all of us very proud. It was something very similar to what we witnessed at SV home last year.

Many a times, people and friends ask me, what is the outcome of an event like this. There are n numbers of Priyanka’s like this across. We had many such more in mazaiyur last week. We will have many more in kaatu malayanur in the coming years…

We will travel as far as possible and go extra miles for kids like Priyanka. The impact made can’t be quantified but only experienced. It’s something like the pure love one experiences, after all not everything in life needs to be quantified.

At Dream India, we travel to rural schools and conduct a day long educational event for the children. We use this day not only to provide a platform for the children but to understand the needs of the school and children.

With the relationship being built, we work on setting up computer labs, deploying teachers, supporting kids education for graduation as they move out of school and many more stuff for school. But the core stuff begins from this day every year.

And it’s because of the support of n number of well wishers and friends we conduct all these programs. Thanks a lot everyone.
